NHSFFP Announces Fall Events

We have a lot of exciting events planned for the coming weeks!

You can always visit our Upcoming Events page to see what we have scheduled, and if you can’t make it to one of our events, you can find all of the resources from a presentation, like the slides, handouts, and a recording if we were able to tape it, in our archive of Past Events.

If you want us to come to your community let us know! We have given presentations in person and virtually to Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, local school boards, and any other group of citizens that wants to know more about school funding in New Hampshire. Candidate Webinar, Tuesday, August 30 at 6 pm on Zoom
Back by popular demand, join NHSFFP, Stay Work Play, and the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast for a webinar discussion on school funding, property taxes, affordable housing, and attracting and retaining young people in New Hampshire.

Croydon, Sunapee, and Kearsagre, Thursday, September 15 at 7 pm
Join NHSFFP, We Stand Up for Croydon, and the Sunapee and Kearsarge School Districts at Sherburne Gym in Sunapee for a community presentation on school funding, property taxes, and how a community banded together to save their schools.

Brentwood, Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30 pm
Join NHSFFP to learn about how NH’s current school funding model unfairly downshifts its responsibility to fund public education to taxpayers, and how our schools suffer as a result of the state’s failure to fulfil its constitutional obligation.

“Toward Strong Public Education in New Hampshire” Wednesday, September 28 at 12 pm
NHSFFP will be participating in this webinar presented by NH Businesses for Social Responsibility as part of their Back-to-School webinar series

SAU 16, Thursday, October 13 at 6 pm
Join NHSFFP and SAU 16 at Exeter High School for a community presentation on why each town in a cooperative school district pays a different amount to fund education. You will also learn how our school funding model creates huge disparities in property taxes and the quality of education across the state.
