May was a busy month for the Fair Funding Team! With the State Budget process ongoing, we took our School Funding & Property Taxes presentation to as many communities as we could to educate people so they can talk to their legislators about the importance of fair school funding.

We presented in 6 different communities this month, heading to Berlin, Lisbon, Goffstown, Warner, Plymouth, and Claremont!

We also hosted a webinar with the lawyers from the two school funding lawsuits to talk about the conclusion of the ConVal trial and what to expect next in the fight for fair funding in the court room.

June is going to be just as busy as we enter the last few weeks of the legislative session and the final budget negotiations. We’ll be working hard to try and ensure that fair school funding is included in the final bill signed by the Governor.
