New Hampshire’s next budget could place our public school system – and its ability to serve children, families, and communities in every corner of the state – in grave danger. That budget is poised – whether by failing to respond fully to threats from the pandemic, neglecting longstanding funding inequities, or creating a costly and unaccountable voucher scheme – to deny schools the resources they need to educate future generations and to put even greater pressure on local property taxes.

Along with AFT-NH, NEA-NH, the NH Association of School Principals, the NH Association of Special Education Administrators, the NH School Administrators Association, and the NH School Boards Association, NHSFFP will host a Zoom Webinar on Wednesday, May 19 from 4:00-5:00pm to explore these issues and the FY22-23 budget. Members and representatives from each organization will provide their perspectives on these issues before opening the webinar to questions.
